Privacy Policy

Learn how PCGearCheck respects and protects your digital privacy with 100% client-side browser evaluation.

Last updated: October 2026

Summary in 3 Key Points:

Zero keystroke logging
Zero server audio or video uploads
Zero user accounts or credentials required

01.100% Client-Side Local Evaluation

PCGearCheck operates on a strict privacy-by-design architecture. When you perform diagnostics on your keyboard, mouse, audio channels, or display refresh rate, hardware events are processed entirely inside your local browser memory (RAM).

No keystroke logs, click coordinate streams, or frame timing buffers are transmitted to our servers. The moment you refresh or navigate away from the page, all diagnostic state is wiped instantly.

02.No Audio Transmission or Storage

When running the Microphone Test, browser permission is requested solely to instantiate a local Web Audio API AnalyserNode. The audio waveform and decibel readings are rendered locally in your canvas. Audio samples are never saved to disk, encoded, or transmitted over the internet.

Audio stream input is piped to local AudioContext only; no server audio endpoints exist in our codebase.

03.Data Storage & Cookies

PCGearCheck does not require user accounts, logins, passwords, or personal identity verification. We do not use persistent tracking cookies to follow your browsing behavior across other websites.

We use browser localStorage solely to remember your preferred language selection (e.g., Vietnamese or English) for subsequent visits.

04.Third-Party Analytics & Infrastructure

To monitor website stability and optimize technical search ranking (SEO), we may review aggregated, anonymized metrics (such as page view counts, browser family, and country-level traffic) through privacy-respecting analytics. Non-intrusive advertisements may be displayed to support infrastructure costs in strict compliance with Google AdSense policies.
