How to Test Your Keyboard Tester
- Click inside this browser window to ensure keyboard focus.
- Press every key on your physical keyboard one by one to verify the layout turns green.
- Hold down multiple keys simultaneously (e.g. W+A+S+D+Space) to check anti-ghosting rollover capacity.
- Verify the Rollover Record increases as you hold down more keys.
Browser API Precision & Limitations
Some special OS-level shortcut keys (like Ctrl+Alt+Del, Win key on some browsers) cannot be captured.
Standard note: A passing test confirms your operating system and browser receive valid hardware event signals. It does not replace physical laboratory calibration.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
01.If a key doesn't turn green, check if dust or debris is beneath mechanical switch keycaps.
02.If several keys stop registering together, your keyboard may have standard 2-key or 6-key rollover limitation rather than Full N-Key Rollover (NKRO).
03.Ensure no background macro software (e.g. AutoHotkey, gaming keyboard utility) is intercepting keycodes.
